Reviews for the Oppo A52
After the release of the A91, Oppo expanded its A series with the A72 and the 50-Euro (~$59) cheaper A52, both of which look identical at first glance. In our review, we examine the differences between the A72 and the A52 to find out whether the price cut offered by the A52 is worth it.

The Oppo A52 scores high on design and looks. The battery can go on for a day and a half on average and easily for one day on heavy usage. The security features work promptly and the UI makes for easy navigation. The gaming performance on Snapdragon 665 is also better than expected. The camera performance is, however, mixed, with scope of improvement in the night shots. At 19,990, the phone has a good chance to survive in an already overcrowded space.

The OPPO A52 primarily competes with the Samsung Galaxy M31, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, realme 6 Pro, and the new Motorola One Fusion+ at the given price tag. Making a choice in this price range isn’t quite easy right now as you see a number of good smartphones coming from different brands.

If you want a phone for general emailing, calls, messaging and web surfing which has more than a few fun features, the OPPO A52 is a great option. If you, like me, want to take more than the odd picture here and there, the camera quality is going to be an issue for you.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 665) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. The performance of the GPU is between the Adreno 510 and 512/612 and therefore in the lower mid range. Supports DirectX11_1, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

SD 665: Fast mid-range ARM SoC with 8 CPU Kryo 260 cores (four fast 2 GHz Cortex-A73 cores in a cluster and two power saving 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 cores) and a rather slow Adreno 610 GPU. Manufactured in a 11 nm LPP process.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

Only a few smartphones have larger screens.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
0.192 kg:
Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.
250.5%: This notebook model is regarded by the reviewers to be exceptionally good. There hardly exist laptops, which are rated so good. If this rating can be taken seriously, this is a clear recommendation for purchase.
