The smartphone OEM OPPO has issued press invitations for the launch of what may be its next flagship, the Find X2. This phone, which is thought to have state-of-the-art specs such as a 120Hz display, will debut in Barcelona, but not at the upcoming MWC event to be held in the same city.
OPPO has finally set a date for the launch of its Find X2. This phone is currently thought to be a flagship-grade device, as was its 2018 predecessor. It will debut on February 22, 2020, thus pre-empting the Mobile World Congress 2020 by a couple of days.
The Find X2 will also launch in Barcelona, which is also the next MWC's venue. Following this event, the new phone will also take part in the conference, featuring in OPPO's booth (#3820) in Hall 3 of the Fira Gran Via buillding.
This phone is currently thought to have a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its latest leaks also point to a 6.5-inch diagonal length for this same panel. It may also feature the latest in Sony imaging sensors: an IMX689 48MP module, as well as a possible Pro variant.
It is also just possible that it will feature a 44MP sensor in a dual punch-hole selfie camera - however, tipsters have yet to mention anything about an update for the original Find X's mechanical pop-up form factor.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
