Carl Pei's latest tech start-up Nothing has just set a date for the launch of its first-ever product. The ear (1) TWS earphones are now set to debut on July 27, 2021. The new OEM asserts that they will offer a "pure sound experience", although it has yet to drop any hints as to their pricing.

Nothing is a new tech venture recently set up by ex-OnePlus luminary Carl Pei, thanks in part to investment from some high-profile names in the same industry. Now, it has announced that it is finally ready to unveil its inaugural device - or pair or devices, rather, as it will comprise a new entry into the ever-growing TWS earbud market.

The nascent OEM has already hinted it will aim for originality and innovation in this area, even striving for the same in their previously-revealed moniker, . Now, Nothing also notes that the buds will "combine raw beauty and precise engineering for a pure sound experience". However, it has also clearly done its best to negate all leaks concerning this design to date.

Therefore, the Nothing ear (1) buds are also now touted to usher in a "Sound of Change" on their July 27, 2021 debut. However, the company has yet to clarify whether this event will be worldwide or not; thus far, it has only mentioned a tie-in with Selfridge's flagship store in London (a location where Nothing is also based, as it happens). Accordingly, this launch may be shaping up to be much more niche and specific than the average TWS earbud event.
