Nothing has announced the Nothing Phone (3a) series at MWC Barcelona in Spain. The phone, which will be available in Europe, the UK, and India, will also be sold in North America specifically the US, and at a starting price that gives it an edge over the competition.
The Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro are available under the US Beta Program like previous Nothing phones such as the Phone (2a) Plus, Phone (2a) (curr. available on Amazon for $324), and CMF Phone 1. This also means that the Nothing website is the only place to purchase the new phones at MSRP as they won't be officially sold via carriers and retail partners. Although listings will likely show up soon on stores such as Amazon and Best Buy, but at a price higher than MSRP.
The Nothing Phone (3a) is already available to pre-order on the Nothing US website for $379 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB variant. It is available in White, Black, and Blue, with shipping reported to begin on March 11 for the first two colors.
The Phone (3a) Pro on the other hand has a price tag of $459, and that gets you the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is not yet available to pre-order but buyers can sign up to be informed about its availability. When it becomes available to buy, buyers will be able to choose between Grey and Black.
At $379, the Nothing Phone (3a) costs less than Samsung's Galaxy A36 which has a $399 price tag for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and is expected to be available towards the end of the month. The Phone (3a) Pro's $459 price tag is also less than the $499 price tag of the Galaxy A56 which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
However, before you purchase the Nothing Phone (3a) or Phone (3a) Pro, it is advised you check the carrier support, so you don't end up with an unusable phone.
