Nothing's top-spec offering, the Phone (3a) Pro, is finally here. A slew of leaks and teasers left little to the imagination, though. Strictly speaking, there isn't much of a difference between the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro and the Phone (3a) except for a periscope telephoto lens and radically different design, but that seems to be enough for Nothing to launch them as two separate products.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro comes with a 50 MP wide-angle lens (OIS included) from Samsung, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens from Sony LYT 600 (3x optical zoom, up to 60x digital), and an 8 MP Sony ultra-wide-angle lens. At the front, there's a 50 MP selfie sensor which should, in theory, outperform the regular Phone (3a)'s 32 MP shooter.
Other specs include a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel (120 Hz refresh rate, 480 Hz polling rate that goes up to 1,000 Hz in gaming mode, 800 nits brightness, 3,000 nits peak brightness and a PWM frequency of 2,160 Hz), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 50 Watt wired fast charging (wireless not supported), an under-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and the quintessential glyph interface found on Nothing devices.
Globally, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is available in only one variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. However, in India, variants with 8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage are also available. In Europe, the Phone (3a) Pro can be bought for EUR 459.
