The Nothing Ear (2) is just around the corner, with the company continuing to tease the earbuds on social media. While Nothing has not revealed many details about the Ear (2) yet, @OnLeaks and The Tech Outlook have now shared various details and high-resolution marketing images. Presumably, these are the images that Nothing will use for its initial Ear (2) promotional campaign.
As expected, the Ear (2) resemble its predecessors, the Ear (1) and Ear Stick. Specifically, Nothing has equipped the Ear (2) with white silicone ear tips, a transparent stem and red/white dots denoting left and right earbuds. Nothing has changed the metal grilles surrounding the microphones though, and has repositioned the top microphone for more effective ANC. Additionally, the Ear (2) will feature personalised ANC, which will provide customisations based on background noise levels and user preferences.
Moreover, the earbuds will offer an extended equaliser and Bluetooth Multipoint for connecting to two devices simultaneously. Reputedly, Nothing has based the Ear (2) around an 11.6 mm dynamic driver and batteries that should last up to 6 hours with ANC disabled. Although it is relatively short compared to other premium earbuds, the bundled charging case will provide another 5 charge cycles before it needs topping up via its USB Type-C port or a Qi wireless charger. For reference, the Ear (2) will be IP54 certified against dust and water too. Nothing will announce the Ear (2) globally on March 22; pricing has not leaked yet, though.
