Nothing Speaker (1) leaks as new product category for Carl Pei's company

91mobiles and Kuba Wojciechowski have revealed that Nothing and Carl Pei are working on at least one other new product, with the Nothing Ear (2) and the Nothing Phone (2) already confirmed for release later this year. Supposedly, the image below is of a speaker, with a translucent carry handle spanning the top of it. The speaker's name has not leaked yet, although it can be inferred that Nothing will market it as the Speaker (1).

According to 91mobiles, the Nothing Speaker (1) has four drivers, with tweeters sat above two main drivers. The speaker also has several buttons flanking the two tweeters, with no buttons on its front panel. However, there appears to be a ticker tape display next to the left-hand tweeter. It remains to be seen how useful this display will be; we suspect it will display at least meta data, current volume levels and which input is active.

Little else is known about the Nothing Speaker (1) at this stage, including a release date. If 91mobiles and Wojciechowski are correct, it would seem that Nothing has plenty of hardware releases planned over the next few months. Release dates for the Ear (2) and Phone (2) are not guaranteed yet either, but Nothing may have started teasing the former's launch.
