The Redmi K30 5G impressed us during our recent review, as did the Redmi K20 Pro last year. Hence, the Redmi K30 Pro is an exciting prospect, especially as it will likely combine the good features of the Redmi K30 with a more powerful SoC. However, this not what the Redmi K30 Pro will look like.
Posted to Slashleaks today, the render shows a device that resembles the offspring of the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K30. There is plenty that points to this render being a fake though, not least the off-centre earpiece grille or oddly-placed 5G branding.
Correspondingly, the "leak" has a 27% trust score on the website. The poster does not have a good track record from the three leaks that they posted either. Ultimately, this post underlines the unreliability of Slashleaks posts. Anyone can "submit a leak" without being moderated, so there is no suggestion that this render is the genuine article.
