Were you disappointed by the Redmi K30? Well, if you were after a more powerful SoC and more RAM, then the K30 Pro will probably do nicely for you. However, if you were holding out for a better screen or improved cameras, then the awaited successor to the K20 Pro may leave you feeling underwhelmed.

As leaker @Sudhanshu1414 claimed last week, the Redmi K30 Pro is on its way, and the TENAA has just given us a first glimpse of Xiaomi's next flagship. The listing even contains photos of the device, which is referred to by its model number, M2001G7AE. Pictured in white, the K30 Pro looks remarkably like the regular K30, unsurprisingly.

According to the listing, the K30 Pro will have the same footprint as its sibling. Specifically, the TENAA states that the K30 Pro measures 165.4 x 76.6 x 8.8 mm and weighs 209 g. The K30 Pro is stated as having a 4,400 mAh battery too, which would be 100 mAh smaller than the one in the 4G and 5G variants of the K30. Unsurprisingly, the K30 Pro also has a 6.67-inch display, although its 1080p resolution may underwhelm those who were hoping for a more premium experience. Xiaomi's persistence with an IPS panel rather OLED or AMOLED may annoy some people too.

The listing also confirms that the K30 Pro will come in with 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. By contrast, the regular K30 does not currently have a 512 GB SKU, with Xiaomi including a 64 GB version instead. Moreover, the K30 Pro will sport up to 12 GB of RAM, along with 6 GB and 8 GB as the K30 does. Searching through the various entries reveals that Xiaomi plans to release the K30 Pro in blue, black, green, pink, red and white too, so two more colours than it offers for the regular K30.

Finally, the listing implies that the K30 Pro will feature the same cameras as the regular K30 does. While the listing mentions that the K30 Pro is 5G capable and has a 2.4 GHz CPU, it does state on which SoC the device is based. The consensus is currently the Snapdragon 865, but we are still waiting for confirmation on this one.
