Since Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix 3 back in late 2018, fans of the series have patiently waited for the successor to that device, the Mi Mix 4. While the Mix 4 has proven elusive for so long, the device looks to be on the way finally, and new, relevant information has now been revealed.
According to leakster Ice Universe, the Mi Mix 4 is on the way. Reportedly, the premium device should be released in the second half of the year. Xiaomi usually releases the Mi Mix phones around October, so it makes sense that the next iteration in the series will continue that tradition.
Renders of the Mi Mix 4 have also surfaced. They aren't official renders, though, but are based on information about the device from insider sources. The images show the Mi Mix 4 with some of the slimmest bezels on a smartphone yet. That should come as no surprise, of course, as the original Mi Mix kickstarted the bezel-less design. Even more interesting is the lack of a front camera cutout of any sort. The source is confident that the phone will sport an under-display selfie camera, as well as a curved display. Fingers crossed.
I am 100% affirmation, Mi Mix4 will use the UPC ( Under Panel Camera ) technology, and it is very likely to use curved screen design, and other new technologies will be used for this phone. pic.twitter.com/esxZPrw5F3
