It looks like Xiaomi could soon be releasing a new mid-range smartphone under its Redmi sub-brand. To recap, the company introduced the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro last month in China. Globally, Xiaomi most recently refreshed the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G (curr. $377 on Amazon) with a new Sand Gold variant, which it launched with early discounts.
Seemingly, '25062RN2D' is an entirely new device that Xiaomi plans to offer in multiple markets. So far, the device has appeared at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with three regional variants, albeit without a generic global variant. Regardless, their model numbers indicate that Xiaomi hopes to release them next month, although that does not always hold.
The information that the FCC has provided so far suggests that 25062RN2D will eventually launch running HyperOS 2.0 with a 5G and Wi-Fi 6-capable chipset. On top of that, the device should be configurable with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Unfortunately, other details about 25062RN2D remain unknown at this stage.
