New Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Pro with 70km range appears

Xiaomi is launching a new e-scooter: the Electric Scooter 6 Pro. This is one of four models in the brand’s Electric Scooter 6 range, which recently appeared on the company's global website. It appears to sit between the regular Electric Scooter 6 and the range-topping Electric Scooter 6 Max.

The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Pro has a 400W motor with 1,000W peak power. As with the other e-scooters in the range, the top speed is 25 kph (~16 mph), and there are three modes: pedestrian, standard and sport. This model has an off-road chassis with 143 mm (~5.63 inches) ground clearance, and can tackle inclines of up to 22%. At the front, there is dual suspension with 40mm travel, and at the rear, there is a central spring shock absorber.

Other features of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Pro include 12-inch tubeless tires, a front drum brake and rear E-ABS. This model has the same 468 Wh battery as the Electric Scooter 6 Max, for up to 70 km (~43 miles) range. The folding frame weighs 27.3 kg (~60.2 lbs) and has an IPX5 rating, making it resistant to rain and splashes.

It is unclear when the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Pro will be released, and in which countries. Should it launch in Europe, it could retail for between €500-600, given that the older Electric Scooter 5 Pro has an RRP of €499.99 (curr. €449.99 at Mi Store DE).
