For context, the two older colorways retail for €4,999.99 in the EU. Aside from the white paint on the aluminum frame, this version of the Btwin F900E e-bike is identical to its predecessors.
The Decathlon Btwin F900E is powered by a 90 Nm Brose S Mag motor, assisting you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph) across three modes. The 630 Wh battery is said to provide up to 80 km (~50 miles) of assistance range, with a full recharge taking around four hours. Other features include 4-piston Tektro MH535 hydraulic disc brakes and cargo bike tires, 20” at the front and 26” at the rear.
According to Decathlon, the Btwin F900E’s carrier can easily be accessed by children, with seats for three passengers. There is a protective rain cover for the carrier and a windshield, with the cargo bike supporting a maximum load of 184 kg (~406 lbs). Headlights are fitted to the low step-through frame, and there are reflective strips on the tires to help make you visible at night. Another accessory is a color display on the e-bike’s stem, showing information like the assistance mode and remaining battery level. Plus, the electric bicycle is equipped with a 4G/GPS unit, though GPS tracking requires a subscription.
Whether or when this Decathlon Btwin F900E Electric Family Cargo Bike in Polar White could be released in the UK remains to be seen.
