The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 has been listed on the brand’s global website. It has arrived alongside other models like the Electric Scooter 6 Lite and the Electric Scooter 6 Max. Compared to the 2025 Electric Scooter 5, there is a mixture of upgrades and downgrades.
Xiaomi’s Electric Scooter 6 has a more powerful engine, with 400W typical power and 800W peak power. For context, the Electric Scooter 5 has 350W standard and 700W peak power. Like its predecessor, the e-scooter’s speed tops out at 25 kph (~16 mph), and there are three modes to choose from: pedestrian, standard and sport. Another improvement is the 12-inch tubeless tires, 2 inches larger than those on the 2025 model, for enhanced ride comfort. Plus, the newer scooter has spring suspension at both the front and rear.
However, there are some compromises with the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6. It has a smaller 360 Wh battery, rather than a 477 Wh battery. While this reduces the charging time by an hour, to eight hours in total, it also lowers the folding scooter’s range from 60 km (~37 miles) to 45 km (~28 miles). It is also a fair bit heavier, weighing 26.3 kg (~58.0 lbs) rather than 20.1 kg (~44.3 lbs). Another difference between these two models is the new kicktail design of the Electric Scooter 6. Both models can tackle inclines up to 18%, have a combination of drum brakes and E-ABS, and are IPX5 water resistant.
The release date and pricing of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 have yet to be confirmed. As a guide, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 retails for €399.99 in Europe (curr. €379.99 at Mi Store DE).
