Samsung fans in the USA will be able to choose from three new devices (with multiple configurations) from February 18. It will be possible to buy either the Notebook 9 (2018), Notebook 9 Pen or Notebook 7 Spin (2018) directly from Samsung's online store.

When it comes to PC market share, including laptops, Samsung is firmly labeled under “Others.” The market is currently dominated by the familiar names of HP, Lenovo, Dell, Apple, ASUS and Acer. But this doesn't mean Samsung has given up adding new notebooks to its line-up. Samsung laptops have been well-received in the past by Notebookcheck and hopefully the company's new editions will be up to scratch.

The three new devices will be made available for purchase from February 18 and will offer a number of configuration options.

The Notebook 9 (2018) will be available in both 13.3-inch and 15-inch screen sizes. The 13.3-inch model will have a starting price of US$1199.99 while the 15-inch device starts at US$1299.99. Expect an eighth-generation Core i5 (likely an i5-8250U), 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD in the smaller device, while the larger notebook offers a Core i7 (probably the i7-8550U), 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD in its base configuration. For those willing to part with US$1499.99 you will get a 15-inch Notebook 9 (2018) that features 16 GB RAM and an Nvidia GeForce MX150.

The next new product to mention is the Notebook 9 Pen. Prices for this device start at US$1399.99. The 13.3-inch convertible has a 360 ° display and offers S Pen touchscreen functionality. A Core i7 processor (possibly the i7-8550U), 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD complete the basic package.

Finally, there is the Notebook 7 Spin (2018). Prices for this device start at US$899.99. The Spin is basically a cheaper version of the Notebook 9 Pen, but it contains a Core i5-8250U chip instead.
