CES 2018 | Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) now official
Yesterday, Samsung introduced an updated version of the Notebook 7 Spin portable that has been available in the US for more than a year, describing it as "an innovative and easy-to-use notebook with productivity features and applications that can be used at work, in the classroom or at home."
In addition to the Coffee Lake Intel Core i5 processor, the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) features a 360-degree touchscreen, support for an Active Pen (unfortunately, this accessory is sold separately), advanced smart recording for taking advantage of the Voice Notes feature, Studio Plus software, as well as a backlit keyboard.
Weighing about 3.4 pounds, the Notebook 7 Spin (2018) has 8 GB RAM, a 256 GB SSD, a 13.3-inch full HD PLS touchscreen display, as well as an almost full set of ports: USB-C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI. Sadly, Thunderbolt 3 is not included. This machine uses a rather standard 43 Wh battery and Samsung did not say anything about its autonomy, but don't expect it to last an entire day on a single charge.
This portable will hit the market loaded with Windows 10 in the first quarter. There is no information about the price or an accurate launch date yet, but we will let you know as soon as Samsung decides to share these news. In the meantime, those interested can take a closer look at the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) in Las Vegas, at CES 2018.
