The smaller sibling of the popular Asus Chromebook Flip C302 has just arrived in the US as the Asus Chromebook Flip C101. Although it is a rather affordable Chromebook convertible, the 10.1-inch Flip C101 has an all-metal body design and weighs less than 2 pounds.
The model that has started shipping today is known as the Asus Chromebook Flip C101PA-DB02 and features the following:

Although Chrome OS does not come with a solid collection of tools, an impressive number of apps and multimedia content can be easily accessed via both the Chrome Web Store and Google's Play Store.
The Asus Chromebook Flip C101PA-DB02 can be acquired in the US for US$299 from Amazon or directly from Asus. Those who think that this convertible Chromebook is too small but have a rather limited budget can choose the 11.6-inch Acer Premium R11 that provides superior specs for about the same price (Intel Pentium N3160, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, US$289.90) or the slightly more expensive Chromebook Flip C213 (Intel Celeron N3350, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, US$344.99).
