New Nothing OS update brings ChatGPT to Nothing Phone 2

The Nothing Phone 2a has already received the Nothing OS 2.5.5. It brought a generous number of bug fixes, camera improvements, and the latest April security patch. Now, it has rolled out for the Nothing Phone 2, which adds something that the newly launched Phone 2a hasn't received: ChatGPT integration.

Basically, the new Nothing OS update brings a new widget that you can use to quickly access the AI chatbot from the home screen. It also brings the ability to quickly copy and paste text and screenshots from the smartphone's clipboard into a conversation within the ChatGPT app.

Of course, to get these working, you need to have the ChatGPT app installed. While this integration is currently exclusive to the Phone 2, it's dropping to the Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2a "in the coming weeks." The company will also be integrating the AI assistant to the newly released earbuds and CMF products in June.

That said, Nothing OS 2.5.5 isn't just about ChatGPT integration. The latest update for Phone 2 also brings a generous number of bug fixes and improvements. That includes optimized animations, better NFC functionality, and higher system stability. Moreover, it adds new features to the Android smartphone.

Among all of them, there's a new Ultra XDR mode in the camera app of the Nothing Phone 2 (12/256 GB curr. $614.92 on Amazon).
