CES 2024 | New Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2 revealed with support for 8K gaming
Govee has announced the AI Sync Box Kit 2 at CES 2024. The device, revealed alongside the Neon Rope Light 2, has been designed to enhance your gaming experience with various lighting effects. The kit contains the upgraded Sync Box, two vertical light bars and a light strip with 75 LEDs per meter (~23 LEDs per ft), using RGBICW beads.
There are numerous improvements for the AI Sync Box 2 HDMI hub compared to its predecessor, including HDMI 2.1 rather than HDMI 2.0 ports, with four inputs and one output, and support for 8K gaming or a 4K@120Hz resolution. CogniGlow AI Effects can highlight various moments in a game, like victories, damage or item use, with 99% recognition accuracy and tailored lighting responses. Plus, you can remotely control the lighting with the Govee Home app, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands, and an update later this year will make the device compatible with Matter.
Another feature is DreamView 360° Syncing, which allows you to connect the product to up to ten Govee devices, and the company has announced support for games like Fortnite and League of Legends. The Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2 will launch at some point in the next six months, with the price yet to be revealed. The original kit retails for $199.99 and is currently discounted to $84.99 at Amazon.
