Amazfit is rolling out updates for various smartwatches. The GTR 4, GTS 4 and GTR 4 Limited Edition are receiving Zepp Flow Version 1.5.3, which appears to bring with it an update to ZeppOS 3.5, as anticipated. Meanwhile, the Balance and Active smartwatches are being updated to Zepp Flow Version 1.5.2.
The Zepp Flow Version 1.5.3 changelog notes that the update adds support for making phone calls to all contacts with voice commands and syncing your schedule with the calendar on your phone. You can now use the voice assistant to check health and exercise data. Plus, Android users with a GTR 4 or GTS 4 can reply to SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Google Messages, Telegram, and Instagram notifications.
The Zepp Flow Version 1.5.2 update is much smaller. Here, the changelog only notes that bugs with the Portuguese language have been fixed. The wider release notes indicate that these two Zepp Flow updates are rolling out to many countries worldwide, supporting the following languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean.
At the time of writing, it appears that only a few Amazfit smartwatch users have received these updates; when the rollout will be complete remains to be seen. To ensure you get the new software as soon as possible, Amazfit recommends confirming you have installed the latest version of the Zepp app. You can then check for the firmware in the app by going to Profile -> Device -> Software Update.
