Amazfit GTS 4 Zepp OS 3.5 update launching soon
Zepp Health has officially confirmed that Zepp OS 3.5 is coming to the GTS 4 smartwatch. Rumors about the update began in June, with the company hinting at the release in reply to a user on X.
Now, further information has appeared in the comments section of a post from the Zepp OS X account about the “Celebrating Freedom” watch face, marking Independence Day. This time, in an exchange between the company and a different user, Zepp Health confirmed that an over-the-air update will bring Zepp OS 3.5 to the GTS 4 this August. However, an exact launch date has yet to be provided.
Zepp OS 3.5 began rolling out to Amazfit smartwatches earlier this year, bringing the Zepp Flow AI assistant. Other software features include improved sports modes, support for offline maps, and more mini apps. The company has already started to roll out the successor to Zepp OS 3.5, Zepp OS 4.0, which is on the way to Active, Balance, Cheetah, Falcon and T-Rex users. This latest OS integrates with OpenAI’s GPT-4o for more complex voice controls. It is unclear whether or when Zepp OS 4.0 will reach the GTS 4 smartwatch.
