A new 16-inch laptop has arrived globally. Featuring Intel Panther Lake processors, the Schenker Element 16 also includes a 120 Hz display, up to 72 GB RAM, and a 72 Wh battery rated to last 12 hours in official battery life tests. Schenker's new 16-inch laptop weighs less than 2 kg, too.

Over six months have passed since Schenker showcased the Element 16. Originally, the company claimed that the 16-inch laptop was a concept. Nonetheless, it added in January that the Element 16 would receive a full release in 2026, possibly by June.

While that launch window did not occur, Schenker has now released the Element 16 with a range of configurations at launch. Principally, the Element 16 contains the Core Ultra 5 325 or Core Ultra 7 356H, two processors from Intel's Panther Lake family that we have already reviewed in a few 16-inch laptops like the Galaxy Book6 Ultra (curr. $3,225 on Amazon).

According to our benchmarks, the Core Ultra 7 356H is around 39% faster than the Core Ultra 5 325. Reportedly, the Core Ultra 7 356H can draw up to 50 W under continuous load in the Element 16 or 65 W in short bursts. Additionally, Schenker includes a PCIe 5.0-capable SSD slot and a single SODIMM slot for up to 72 GB of DDR5 RAM when accounting for its 8 GB of soldered memory.

On top of that, the Element 16 contains a 1600p, 400 nit and 120 Hz display with 100% sRGB colour space coverage. Schenker adds that the laptop also features a 72 Wh battery, which should last around 12 hours when streaming videos in power-saving mode at 150 nits. For reference, the company has crammed all this hardware inside a 1.9 kg housing that measures 359.8 x 257 x 19.9 mm.

Element 16 pricing starts at €1,499, including 19% VAT, with a Core Ultra 5 325 processor, 16 GB of RAM (8 GB soldered), a 500 GB SSD and a 400-nit IPS display resolving at 1600p. Alternatively, Schenker offers the 16-inch laptop with the Core Ultra 7 356H at a €150 surcharge. Orders placed before August 31 on Bestware are eligible for a 5% discount. Orders should begin shipping in late August 2026. Please see Schenker's website for more details.
