NVIDIA RTX Super specifications leak, RTX 2080 Super touted to be faster than the Titan Xp
NVIDIA is all set to launch the RTX 20 Super series on July 2. As detailed before, we will be seeing the announcement of Super editions of the RTX 2060, RTX 2070, and RTX 2080 with the RTX 2080 Super launching at a later date. Videocardz has published the specifications from the reviewers guide for these cards. We currently have only the specs for the RTX 2060 Super and the RTX 2070 Super at the moment.
The specifications for the RTX 2080 Super are not yet confirmed apart from the fact that it sports a 15 Gbps memory bandwidth, which is higher than both the RTX 2080 Ti and the Titan RTX. Videocardz reports that NVIDIA is comparing the Super cards to their Pascal predecessors. For example, RTX 2080 Super is being touted as being "faster than the Titan Xp" with 11+11 TOPS (FP32+INT32). The RTX 2070 Super with 9+9 TOPS is said to be "faster than a GTX 1080 Ti" and about 16% faster than the RTX 2070. Similarly, the RTX 2060 Super is said to be "faster than a GTX 1080" and about 15% faster than the RTX 2060.
The RTX 2060 Super and the RTX 2070 Super, and very likely the RTX 2080 Super as well, require more power to run (+15W for RTX 2060S and +30W for RTX 2070S) than their original variants. The RTX 2060 Super also benefits from having increased memory from 6 GB to 8 GB on a 256-bit interface. We also see an increase of 1 Giga Rays per second for both the RTX 2060 Super and the RTX 2070 Super compared to their original iterations.
You can have a look at the specifications of the RTX 2060 Super and the RTX 2070 Super below. Do note that the Texture Units value for the RTX 2070 Super should likely be 160 and not 184.
