Mophie Juice Pack Connect is a mobile MagSafe alternative for any phone

Apple might have caught the eye with its new MagSafe charging adapter that uses magnets to ensure a perfectly aligned wireless charge, but Mophie has come up with a similarly effective solution that offers some advantages of its own. The new Mophie Juice Pack Connect also aligns perfectly to the back of any Qi-enabled smartphone though as it does not use any wires (like MagSafe), users can charge their device wirelessly on the go. 

The Juice Pack Connect incorporates a 5,000 mAh battery into its design which Mophie says will deliver up to 70 percent extra charge to ensure users get through a full day without having to plug in their device or leave it on a charging mat. The anchor system will work with most lightweight cases with an alignment tool provided to ensure that users stick it in the right spot. 

Unlike a bulky battery case that typically isn’t easy to take on and off, the Juice Pack Connect can easily be removed when a charge is completed. It can then be replaced with a modular Connect Stand that can be used to prop up your device or to help grip it better. When not in use, the Juice Pack Connect can be charged over the built-in USB-C port or wirelessly on a Qi-enabled charging mat.
