The Mijia Air Purifier 5 Pro is Xiaomi's latest advancement in air purification, now featuring the brand's very first dual-fan system. At 2,499 yuan ($343), this high-end air purifier blends top-tier filtration with smart air quality monitoring.
Thanks to the dual-fan setup, it pushes out a solid 13,333 liters of clean air per minute, with a particle CADR (clean air delivery rate) of 1050 m³/h (618 cfm). It's capable of covering spaces between 56 and 96 m² (603 to 1033 ft²), and its formaldehyde CADR is a whopping 720 m³/h (424 cfm)—way above China's national standards by about eight times.
The six-layer filtration system is built to tackle everyday pollutants, and it has an impressive 99.99 percent removal rate for nasty stuff like the H1N1 flu virus and the EV71 intestinal virus. It also uses UV-C sterilization and an antibacterial coating, so you've got extra protection, especially during flu season.
The purifier comes with six high-tech sensors that monitor various air quality levels, including PM1, PM2.5, formaldehyde, and dust. It also has a big LCD screen that displays real-time air quality data and device status.
If you're into smart home tech, this one connects with the Mijia App, XiaoAI voice assistant, and HyperOS Connect for easy remote control and automation. It's pretty quiet, too, running at just 33 dB(A) when in sleep mode, and it's got hidden caster wheels for better mobility.
The filter is energy-efficient and lasts about a year, with a daily maintenance cost of just 1.23 yuan ($0.17). Thanks to the snap-in compartment, replacing the filter is a breeze, making it hassle-free for users.
