Mi Mix 3 could be coming next month with some of the slimmest bezels the world has ever seen
Update: Xiaomi President Lin Bin recently posted a live image of the Mi Mix 3. The device can be seen with "some of the slimmest bezels the world has ever seen", mostly made possible by the OPPO Find X-esque sliding mechanism at its top. The slider houses the front-facing camera and all other sensors usually seen at the top of a device's display. The device is scheduled to be launched next month.

According to word on Chinese social media platform Weibo, Xiaomi could be set to launch its next premium device, the Mi Mix 3, next month.
Since 2016, Xiaomi’s Mi Mix series has been the company’s venture at showcasing its innovative smartphone designs. In fact, the first generation Mi Mix brought the current trend of bezel-less displays to the mainstream market, and still remains one of the forerunners in terms of that design factor.
While nothing is official at the moment, the touted launch date of September 25 isn’t particularly outlandish. The Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3 were announced in September last year, so having the Mix 3 out a year after would fit in rather nicely.
Word on the device itself has been sparse so far. It will almost definitely be powered by a Snapdragon 845 and will feature dual rear cameras, possibly a pop-up selfie camera, and indubitably ultra-slim bezels.
Meanwhile, there's a chance Xiaomi has another device in the works. The device, the Mi 8X, popped up at Chinese certification website 3C a few days ago. While nothing is confirmed, word claims it will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 and will feature vertically-aligned dual rear cameras and a 3100 mAh battery.
SoC in mind, it's a bit hard to figure out what exactly this Mi 8X is supposed to be, especially since there's already a similar Mi 8 SE, and also the fact that Xiaomi has an established series of devices with that naming scheme.
