Xiaomi has released an official teaser for the upcoming Mi Mix 2S. The device is showing sporting minimal bezels and no notch. All things considered, it looks exactly like the Mi Mix 2. The device will feature a Snapdragon 845 and could also sport some sort of iris scanning technology and also wireless charging.

The Mi Mix 2S will be Xiaomi's next premium device. The company usually releases its primary Mi-series offering—the upcoming Mi 7 this time—around this time of the year but that device looks to currently be undergoing some redevelopment. As such, it may be a while before it's released. The Mi Mix 2S, however, will be a refresh of the Mi Mix 2 that was released about six months ago.

There have been numerous rumors of the Mi Mix 2S till date. The company has confirmed the device for a March 27 launch but actual specifications are anything but factual at this point, with the exception of the Snapdragon 845 that will power the device.

Renders of the device showed it sporting a notch at the top-right corner but those look to be false, with an official teaser showcasing a device that looks exactly like the original Mi Mix 2—notch of any sorts missing. The touted notch at the top right corner was one of the few notch implementations we actually liked, so this is quite the disappointment. There's also the fact that the front-facing camera will also be relocated to the bottom bezel of the device, which most wouldn't consider optimal for usability.
