Marshall surprises fans with a new release on January 21, 2026: the Marshall Heddon is not another speaker, but a powerful music streaming hub. It solves one of the biggest pain points for many fans by connecting existing Marshall speakers via Auracast into a fully synchronized multi-room system.

The new Marshall Heddon launches today, January 21, 2026. It serves as a music streaming hub while simultaneously transmitting audio to multiple Marshall speakers, enabling a true multi-room setup.

Streaming hub with auracast: What the Marshall Heddon can do

The Marshall Heddon streams audio from sources such as Spotify Connect, TIDAL, AirPlay, and Google Cast to supported Marshall Bluetooth speakers. However, it does far more than simply forwarding audio to a single speaker. The Heddon is designed to link nearly all Marshall Bluetooth speakers into one unified multi-room system, purpose-built to deliver perfectly synchronized playback across multiple devices.

Thanks to Auracast, this synchronization can extend across several rooms if desired. A LAN port is also included for wired network connections.

Compatibility: Which Marshall speakers are supported?

There is one limitation to note: wireless connectivity is currently supported only by Marshall’s Homeline III products. Owners of older Marshall speakers — including Bluetooth models — can still integrate them into a multi-room setup via RCA, although this is limited to one stereo pair (left/right).

Via cable, the Heddon is compatible with older models such as the Acton Bluetooth, Stanmore Bluetooth, Woburn Bluetooth, Acton II Bluetooth, Stanmore II Bluetooth, Woburn II Bluetooth, Kilburn, Kilburn II, Stockwell, Stockwell II, Tufton, Acton Voice, and Stanmore Voice. A turntable can also be connected, allowing vinyl playback to be streamed to newer Marshall speakers throughout the home.

Sustainability in focus: Recycled materials and pvc-free

Marshall continues its efforts to transition its product lineup toward more sustainable manufacturing. The Heddon is made from 53 percent recycled materials. Of this, 39 percent consists of metal, with 77 percent of that metal coming from certified recycled sources. In addition, the device is completely PVC-free, including all electrical cables.

The Marshall Heddon is available from January 21 for €199 via Marshall.com.
