The MSI Prestige 14 is a small powerhouse with a design and equipment that are convincing. We also like the keyboard with its normal-sized arrow keys very much. Our detailed review clarifies how the 14-inch laptop performs for creatives.

If you're comfortable walking a little floofy dog, you'll be fine appearing in public with MSI's Prestige 14 in Rose Pink. This $1,399 ultraportable laptop laughs at boring black and subdued silver shades—it's a vivid metallic pink, a little paler than hot, that makes the lid and keyboard deck stand out (and the unit comes with a carrying case and a mouse to match). The Prestige 14 also outperforms most competitors, thanks to a six-core Intel Core i7 processor and light-gaming-worthy Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics. Its steeper price and positioning keep it from unseating the mainstream Dell Inspiron 14 7000 as our ultraportable Editors' Choice, but it's worth a look if you're considering high-end compacts like the Dell XPS 13 or Razer Blade Stealth 13.

Still, if you're targeting creative professionals, I would have liked a brighter screen and better audio. The performance could have also been a tad better. If you want a bit more oomph and a brighter display, you might want to check out the $1,429 Lenovo Yoga C940 (15-inch). But for creative professionals looking for a powerful notebook with a lot of flair, the MSI Prestige 14 is the way to go.

One of the things that is really considered while choosing a laptop is its design. This is due to the fact that there are some really good laptops out there which has to be excluded from the list of the most favorable laptops due to its bulky design as it is not entirely user-friendly. Laptop is like a right-hand for most professionals out there and a bulky one isn’t going to be the best pal for them due to the inconvenience of handling it. Having said that, MSI has just launched its very own 14 inches slim laptop, MSI Prestige 14 A10SC-009. While the display size of 14 inches indicates that MSI has opted for the standard office laptop measurement, the slim design is making it even more approachable.
Looking at the overall design and quality, it is worthwhile to mention that the creation was done with such detailed work and focus as there are no uneven gap dimensions within the model. Opening the lid of Prestige 14 brings in an air of new experience for the user as it opens majestically with the base unit being lifted slightly at the back. This slight lifting was intentionally created to artificially create an angle that allow air circulation on the flat surfaces. However, if the laptop is being operated by placing it on the lap then, the resulting lifting might an unpleasant digging onto the skin which might create some discomfort for the user. So, it is always better to place the laptop on a flat surface while using it rather than letting it be in contact with the skin.
Prestige 14 is noted as a slim laptop as it carries one of the lightest weights among all its other similar size competitors out there. With a weight of 1300 grams, this slim laptop is definitely comfortable to be handled and convenient for personal or professional usage. The best thing about this model is that it is not only slim but it is also rather compact. As far as the keyboard is concerned, it has been built in with a rather decently planned layout by including very large keys even for a such standard 14 inches laptop. Larger keys allow better writing experience as it increases user’s comfort while working with the keyboard. Apart from that, MSI Prestige 14 also incorporates Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6 features for wireless communication.
In terms of the versions available, this laptop comes in three different colors namely Carbon Grey with polished blue edges, Pure White and Rose Pink for users to choose from based on their personal interest and preference. Along with everything mentioned above, MSI also gives out a 14 to 24 months warranty for buyers which can be obtained while purchasing the laptop. So, even if there is any issue with the laptop within the stated time period, the user is covered.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
