The Bloodborne-Sekiro hybrid Souls-like Lies of P made quite a splash when it launched in 2023. Two years later, developer Neowiz has finally announced some much-needed DLC. It is called Overture, and it is scheduled to launch sometime in Summer 2025. It will be available for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S|X and PC.
Lies of P Overture is a prequel of sorts and not a continuation of the plot teased by the game's ending. That will likely be reserved for the sequel, which has been tacitly confirmed by a job listing. In Overture, you get to discover why the "puppet frenzy" happened and will have to live through its events. This also suggests might not play as Pinocchio because and will likely commandeer another puppet.
Whether it will have multiple endings remains to be seen, but we already know the result. FromSoftware usually hides its DLC access points in hard-to-find locations, and it'll be interesting to see how Neowiz goes about it. If Reddit detectives are to be believed, you'll need to defeat the Archbishop and get to the Path of the Pilgrim, where there's an inactive Stargazer (Bonfire/Grace/Lantern/Idol). There's a good chance this will be where you get to enter Lies of P Overture.
