Lenovo Yoga 510-15ISK
The Lenovo Yoga 510 is a versatile laptop. It can charge 40% faster than other laptops, be folded, flipped, stand and tilted to fit the user’s needs. The chassis is robust with quality materials used, features a sleek-looking design and it is designed for users who are looking for multiple ways to play and work. The Microsoft Windows 10 system uses a 2.3 to 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5-6200U processor, an Intel HD Graphics 520 graphic card, 4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM and a 1 TB hard disk. Its glossy 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display is bright and detail-rich for both multimedia and gaming. The keyboard looks premium since Lenovo uses an anodized aluminum that looks like a diamond cut on it and it delivers a good and comfortable typing experience. In addition, there are media player control keys placed above the Numpad keys for a seamless entertainment experience. Its connectivity options include two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a combo audio jack and a memory card reader, which supports SD, MMC and SDXC formats. It has a thin and light design with 2.07 kg and its battery life can last up to 5:10 hours on average usage.Specifications

We can’t be sure whether the Yoga 510 is a successor to the Yoga 500 but one thing is for sure, this version is worth the money even if it costs a few bucks more. The build quality is outstanding for a notebook at this price range while the touchpad and keyboard performance is great. It’s also pretty lightweight for a 15-incher and considerably thinner than most of its competitors. However, the size and weight don’t actually translate into comfortable usage in tablet mode which raises the question whether a 15-inch diagonal is actually worth making it into a 2-in-1 device in the first place. The form factor may also be the main reason the screen wobbles so much when using the touch panel. Anyway, if the notebook is priced right – considering the $600 starting price, we bet it would – it might be the logical choice between a standard 15-inch machine and the Yoga 510.

Dull and boring. If you get a 15.6-inch convertible, you want to be ready for every usage scenario. The Yoga 510, however, reveals some limitations: Lenovo uses a dark display and the graphics card is not powerful enough.

Imperfect. Lenovo has put a largely useless dedicated graphics card in its new 14-inch convertible. Thankfully, the other components ensure the device can do its job as a mobile office companion. In our detailed review, we will check this model and see how its limited battery life and other flaws stack up in comparison to the competition.

If battery life is important to you (and let’s be honest who isn’t it important to) then the fast charge and 8 hour battery life is a plus worth paying for. With crisp display, ample storage (some have a 1TB drive) and the ability to be a notebook or tablet, the Yoga 510 is a great notebook, but with a price tag of about R10k, this is not something I would bend over backwards for.

The Lenovo Yoga 510 can do pretty much everything you need it to. There's a generously sized 14" display that's crisp and clear, as well as a solid body that should stand the test of time. Add to this well specced innards, along with a number of different modes for consumers looking for something a little more quirky, and the Yoga 510 becomes a notebook that is hard to resist.

Disappointing screen. Lenovo's 14-inch convertible carries a price tag of around 500 Euros (~$533). The buyer gets a Stoney Ridge APU with a solid-state drive, and 4 GB of working memory. Lenovo ruins the overall good impression by installing a viewing angle dependent TN panel.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
AMD Radeon R5 (Stoney Ridge): Integrated graphics adapter of some AMD-A dual-core APUs ("Stoney Ridge"). Based on the GCN architecture, implements 192 shader units and runs at up to 800 MHz. The performance can vary heavily depending on the TDP (15-25 Watts for the whole chip)

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.

76.63%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
