Reviews for the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16AHP9
Source: Laptop Media

We are positively surprised by the fact that the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16 2-in-1 (Gen 9, 16AHP9) nears the power of its non-2-in-1 version. Here, the performance of the Ryzen 7 8845HS will not top any benchmark charts but it’s more than sufficient for work and even for heavier tasks such as 3D rendering. In addition, the Radeon 780M still packs a punch scoring 120FPS in CS2 on Medium details. The base 1200p IPS display (LEN160WUM (LEN9156)) is just fine for normal office tasks. It’s a PWM-free touchscreen with wide viewing angles and a good max brightness of 334 nits.

AMD Radeon 780M: Integrated graphics card in the Ryzen 7040 mobile series APUs based on the RDNA3 architecture with 12 CUs (= 768 shaders) and a clock speed of up to 3 GHz.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

R7 8845HS: A powerful Hawk Point family chip that saw the light of day in H2 2023. We believe the 8845HS to be an R7 7840HS in disguise but with higher clock speeds on the Ryzen AI NPU. The 8845HS features 8 cores (16 threads thanks to SMT support) running at up to 5.1 GHz. Last but not the least, the Radeon 780M serves as the integrated GPU.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
