The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i was introduced at CES 2023 with Intel Raptor Lake processors and RTX 40 GPUs. The Core i9-13900HX and RTX 4080-powered configuration of the laptop is now going for a massive 22% off. Thanks to the powerful CPU and GPU, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i performs exceptionally well as it scored a performance rating of 98.5% in our review.

Last month, B&H Photo had the 2023 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i on sale for US$2,199, a discount of US$550.99. B&H Photo now has the same Legion Pro 7i configuration for even cheaper, as the notebook can be yours for only US$2,149.99 which is a discount of US$600.99 on the US$2,749.99 list price (via slickdeals).

That said, Lenovo also has the Legion Pro 7i on sale for US$2,199.99 or US$50 more than the B&H Photo with the coupon code BUYMORELENOVO. The cool thing about Lenovo’s deal is that you can get US$132 in Lenovo reward points and free expedited shipping if you are a member. Additional discounts through ID.me and perks at work benefits are also possible. So, if you have already signed up with Lenovo, you can technically get the Legion Pro 7i for even less than the current deal from B&H Photo.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i on offer is packed with powerful components like a Core i9-13900HX CPU, an RTX 4080 GPU, 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory in dual-channel mode, 1 TB of NVMe storage, and a 99.99 Wh battery. Lenovo has also outfitted the gaming machine with a high-end 16-inch QHD+ panel that features a 240 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of advertised brightness, and NVIDIA G-SYNC as well AMD FreeSync Premium.

In our review of the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, the panel matched Lenovo’s advertised numbers with a max brightness of 511 nits, an average brightness of 469 nits, and 99.7% coverage of the sRGB gamut. The pre-calibrated display also showed a good contrast ratio of 1,278:1.

With a Core i9-13900HX and an RTX 4080 (175 W TGP), one can expect the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i to perform like a beast. Fortunately, it does. The Core i9-13900HX earned a performance rating of 85.3%, 5% more than the average result for the CPU in our testing. As a result, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is capable enough to handle the most demanding CPU-bound tasks.

Similarly, the 175 W RTX 4080 inside the notebook is incredibly fast with a 3DMark Time Spy Graphics score of 18,417. The gaming performance of the GPU is even more impressive, as it appeared 60% ahead of the last-gen RTX 3080 mobile on average.

In other words, the RTX 4080 comfortably handles QHD gaming at elevated graphical settings. For instance, the card ran Spiderman Miles Morales at 94 FPS at QHD with Very High graphics.

Long story short, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is blazing fast, has a good display, and is well-built. At US$2,149.99, it might very well be the RTX 4080 machine to get.
