When it comes to gaming, AMD really hit a home run with the X3D processors. While not the fastest overall, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D currently offers the best performance in games at US$441. However, if you are looking to strike a balance between gaming, productivity and content creation, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D might suit you better, especially now that this model is available at a lower price than the 7800X3D over at Ebay.

For a limited time, the R9 7900X3D can be ordered for only US$439 from Ebay. This is quite a hefty discount from the US$699 MSRP and also beats the US$489.99 offer from Microcenter. Sure, the 7800X3D may be slightly faster in games, but for the same price you get 4 more cores plus the 128 MB L3 3D V-Cache that is essential for demanding games.

With this discount, the R9 7900X3D is clearly a better choice over the i7-13700K that is ~US$410 at most retailers, at least for gaming purposes.
