At CES 2025, Lenovo announced the Legion Glasses 2 a.k.a Legion Glasses Gen 2 as a follow-up to 2023's Legion Glasses. The new pair of AR glasses arrived with a revamped design that gave it a look akin to aviator sunglasses. They also weighed much less, had a higher refresh rate, and were equipped with much brighter displays. However, these upgrades resulted in a price bump. Now, the Legion Glasses 2 are on sale for a limited time on Amazon.
The Lenovo Legion Glasses 2 cost $399.99 at launch, a $70 increase compared to the launch price of its predecessor. For a limited time, Amazon has knocked down the price by 18% which brings them down to $329.99, the same price the first generation model cost at launch. This is the lowest price the glasses have sold for since they became available for purchase in February 2025.
The Legion Glasses 2 is compatible with any device with a USB-C port that has support for DisplayPort. They do not require any setup and work like a pair of monitors when connected to a device. When connected to a device such as the Lenovo Legion Go, the glasses provide the same experience as a giant 126-inch 4K display.
According to the spec sheet, the Legion Glasses 2 are equipped with two Micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 per eye, a contrast ratio of 200,000:1, and a 120Hz refresh rate. They have a max brightness of 800 nits and a 43.5° field of view.
The glasses have built-in speakers and dual microphones, and weigh just 65 grams, making them suitable to wear for a long period of time without being uncomfortable. They also have a 3D mode that can be activated with the press of a button. The on-device physical controls can also be used to adjust brightness and volume.
The Legion Glasses come with a carrying case, a light shield for an immersive experience, a prescription lens frame, a USB-C cable, and a carrying case.
