Leak reveals new launch date for Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37

Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 might be announced in February 2026. According to that report, both Galaxy A smartphones will be unveiled before the Galaxy S26 series. However, while the Galaxy S26 series already has a launch date, Samsung has been mute on the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37. Now, a new leak mentions the phones may be arriving later.
According to a new report, the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 will launch in March, and not February as was previously speculated. Unfortunately, the source didn't reveal a specific date for the announcement. Notwithstanding, a March launch for both phones can't be termed as late as the Galaxy A56 (curr. available on Amazon for $349) and Galaxy A36 were released in March 2025. So a March release date could have been the plan all along.
As a matter of fact, Samsung might choose to unveil both smartphones at the 2026 edition of Mobile World Congress (MWC) since their predecessors were launched at the 2025 edition of the tech expo. MWC 2026 is scheduled to begin on the 2nd of March and run through to the 5th of March.
In addition to the new date, the source also revealed the key specs of the two smartphones. The Galaxy A57 is expected to have a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Exynos 1680 processor and pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging.
For its cameras, the source mentions a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera while the punch hole in the display will house a 12MP sensor. The phone will have a thickness of 6.9mm, weigh 182 grams, and have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. It will also ship with Android 16.
The Galaxy A37, on the other hand, is reported to have a slightly larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. It will have an Exynos 1480 processor powering it and also have the same battery capacity and charging speed as the Galaxy A57. There are also three rear cameras that include a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 5MP macro camera. It will also feature a 12MP front-facing camera, and have an IP67 rating.
