Amazon is upping the ante for its cloud gaming platform Luna, which is receiving its first monthly content update since its major redesign. In November, Prime members will not only have new cloud titles to look forward to, but also a rotating collection of free PC games to download.

Amazon Luna is getting a major overhaul that is intended to make the cloud gaming experience much more user friendly. Prime members now have direct access to over 50 games without needing a console, simply via Fire TV, smart TV, tablet, smartphone or PC. The centerpiece of the new version is GameNight, a collection of party games where your smartphone acts as a controller. It includes Amazon originals such as Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg and classics such as Angry Birds Flock Party and Taboo.

For those seeking more, Luna also offers larger titles and indie gems such as Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Dave the Diver. The service is currently available in 13 European countries, the USA and Canada.

Survival and adventure in November's offer

To kick off the month, Amazon is adding several well-known games to its Prime library:

  • Rise of the Tomb Raider: Lara Croft embarks on her first major expedition into the icy regions of Siberia.
  • World War Z: Co-op shooter for up to four players, where everything revolves around hordes of zombies.
  • Two Point Hospital: Build your own hospital, fight bizarre diseases and keep the place running.
  • Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop: Features the largest bus fleet in the series to date with 30 licensed vehicles, playable solo or in co-op.
