LG has unveiled the Objet TV series, which it will showcase at CES 2022 in January. At launch, the TV series consists of the 65Art90, which will be adorned with a fabric cover produced by Kvadrat. The TV will arrive in three colours: Kvadrat Beige, Kvadrat Redwood and Kvadrat Green.
When switched off, the fabric cover rises to cover most of the display. In effect, the Objet TV series is LG's attempts at Samsung's The Frame series, marketed as lifestyle TVs. Accordingly, the TV can be mounted on a wall or attached to a lean-to stand.
Currently, LG has only provided limited information about the 65Art90. However, it has confirmed that the Objet series rely on OLED Evo panels. Pricing and availability remain unknown, although we imagine that LG will announce them at CES 2022. Supposedly, LG will begin selling Object TVs in South Korea from tomorrow, starting at KRW 9.9 million (~US$8,355).
