A number of images pertaining to Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1660 Ti have been uploaded on Reddit. One of the pictures is of the box, which shows the graphics card is from Galax. There are also two photographs of the actual GPU fitted inside a computer system (which somewhat ironically has an AMD cooling fan installed).
Fortunately, the Reddit user has also posted a device description screenshot that helps confirm a lot of the speculation and rumors about the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. The 6 GB of GDDR6 RAM utilizes a 192-bit memory bus, and the device description lists the expected 1536 unified shaders and 192 tensor cores. The description also specifies the TU116-A400 GPU code name.
However, it seems the new owner of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti has been unable to run any significant benchmarks on the card so far. Apparently, the user doesn’t have access to the necessary drivers and has been encountering errors while trying to run Unigine’s Heaven benchmark. The GTX 1660 Ti should launch on February 22 with a believed MSRP of US$279.
