Humane Ai Pin to launch at Apple iPhone 15 Pro price soon and replace smartphones with AI
The Humane Ai Pin has been revealed a number of times over the past few months, but without any detailed explanation on its functionality. The time will finally come on November 9, when the unusual gadget will be officially unveiled.
According to The Information's sources, the Ai Pin will cost up to US$1000, making it almost exactly the same price as the Apple iPhone 15 Pro. The design of the Ai Pin was recently seen at Paris Fashion Week and it had a shiny metal back, a matte black front and a large LED whose light is supposed to indicate that the Ai Pin's cameras or microphones are active.

The gadget can be operated by voice control, but information can also be projected onto the hand or other surfaces through an integrated, monochrome projector. In previous presentations, Humane co-founder Imran Chaudhri demonstrated how calls and translations are carried out and shown that the Ai Pin can respond to questions by using a combination of OpenAI's GPT model and a proprietary LLM.
The Humane Ai Pin can be attached to clothing using magnets. A Qualcomm Snapdragon ARM chip reportedly gives the gadget the power and connectivity of a modern smartphone. Similarly to a smartphone, users will need to sign a contract with a network operator to be able to use all of the Ai Pin's features away from the home Wi-Fi network. Humane will likely show how exactly this peculiar combination of hardware and AI software is supposed to completely replace a smartphone at the launch event on November 9.
designing and building something for a long time and then finally getting to the point where you can use it yourself in your daily life - feeling the excitement building for the day where you will see others using it out in the world - is addictive.
