Huawei may be on the verge of unleashing EMUI 11 alongside the Mate 40 series, but it is still ploughing on with upgrading existing devices to EMUI 10.1. The company has been gradually rolling out its latest OS for a few months now, and has been making steady progress in doing so.
In Western Europe, for example, it has now completed the rollout of EMUI 10.1 for the Mate 20X (4G) and PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 20 RS. Additionally, it has begun pushing the update to every eligible device, which is another change from last month. Similarly, EMUI 10.1 has reached all PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 20 RS handsets in North East Europe, and Huawei has also now begun issuing the update to the Mate Xs in the region.
Huawei claims to have completed its EMUI 10.1 upgrade plan for Japan too and is now rolling out the update to all eligible handsets in Latin America. The company is yet to issue EMUI 10.1 to the Nova 5T in Russia and Central Asia or the Mate 30 Pro in Canada. You can view the updated upgrade plans below.
