Huawei’s Matebook X Pro is finally available in a new rose gold color. The latest iteration of the highly-regarded ultrabook is retailing in China from US$1,320.

Huawei’s critically well-received Matebook X Pro (2019) is now available in China in a new rose gold color that is officially called Pink Gold. It joins the original Deep Gray and Moon Silver launched back on April 17 helping to increase its potential audience to female executives or anyone that just likes the color. It is also very competitively priced in its home market priced from just US$1,320.

That outlay will net you a Matebook X Pro in Pink Gold equipped with an eighth-gen Core i5 quad-core processor mated to 8 GB of DDR4 RAM along with a 512 GB SSD. A key difference between the regular Matebook 13 versus the Matebook X Pro is that it is fitted with a discrete Nvidia MX250, which while a bonus, doesn’t deliver any better performance than the previous model with the “superseded” Nvidia MX150.

Another key feature upgrade over the regular Matebook 13 with the Pro variant is that it is fitted with a virtually bezel-less 3:2 aspect ratio 3000 x 2000 pixel 13.9-inch LTPS display. It utilizes a hybrid passive and active cooling system designed to keep noise to a minimum, although some have complained that it can get a little hot when working under load despite the inclusion of Huawei’s custom Shark Fin Fans version 2.0. Although equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 port, it is unfortunately gimped to just two of a possible four lanes.
