Honor X8 lands in Europe for €249 with three colour options
Last month, Honor announced the X8, a smaller alternative to the X7. At the time, Honor did not confirm how much the X8 costs, nor when or in what markets it would be available. Now, ComputerBase has confirmed that the Honor X8 has arrived in Europe and for slightly more money than the Honor X7.
Specifically, the Honor X8 has launched for €249, €50 more than the Honor X7. However, both smartphones feature the Snapdragon 680, a 4G chipset built on a 6 nm process with an Adreno 610 GPU. Additionally, the Honor X8 has a 6.7-inch LCD display that resolves at 2,388 x 1,080 pixels with a 90 Hz refresh rate. In comparison, the Honor X7 has a larger but 720p panel, albeit one that is also LCD and 90 Hz.
Separately, the Honor X8 offers 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB of storage and a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 22.5 W fast charging. Incidentally, the 177 g and 74.7 x 163.4 x 7.45 mm device has a 64 MP primary camera, along with the same auxiliary rear-facing cameras as the Honor X7. Also, the Honor X8 has a 16 MP front-facing camera, double the resolution that the Honor X7 offers. Like the X7, the Honor X8 comes in Ocean Blue, Midnight Black and Titanium Silver colourways.
