The Honor 400 is a supposedly upcoming Android smartphone that might be smaller than its Pro sibling, with a display measuring 6.55 inches in diagonal length.
The panel is now thought to be AMOLED and have a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, which would be 1,000 nits more than that of the 300.
The new screen will fit in a chassis measuring just 156.5 millimeters (mm) long, according to a new leak published by the blog YTechB.
That would indeed be shorter than the 300 at 161mm - although the blog also asserts that the 400 might be wider and thicker at 74.6mm and 7.3mm respectively (compared to 74.2mm and 7mm respectively in Honor's current vanilla mid-ranger).
In addition, the new leak claims that the 400 will have the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC as its predecessor, whereas other tips specify the newer Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
It also yields a render showing a device with a plainer, more basic version of the Honor 300's dual rear camera hump in one of the 400's alleged color choices (Black, while the other is apparently called Gray/Gold and might thus be a gradient finish of some kind).
Finally, YTechB claims that the Honor 400 will have a battery of 5,300mAh in capacity, which might have been enough for the 300, but might be a little inadequate in a new 2025 smartphone.
