Here are the launch titles for the Nintendo Switch 2

In addition to covering the Switch 2 during its announcement video today, Nintendo also confirmed a handful of games coming to the new console at launch. Here's a list of confirmed launch titles for the Nintendo Switch 2, as well as some titles gamers can look forward to.

Practically everything about the Switch 2 was shown during today's Nintendo Direct, but a console is just a slab of electronics without games to play. Here's a list of every title confirmed available for the Switch 2 on launch day.

First-party titles:

  • Mario Kart World
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour

Third-party titles:

  • Arcade Archives 2 Ridge Racer
  • Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster
  • Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition
  • DELTARUNE
  • FAST Fusion
  • Fortnite
  • Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
  • Hitman: World of Assassination
  • Hogwarts Legacy
  • Nobubaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition
  • Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S
  • Street Fighter 6
  • Survival Kids
  • Split Fiction
  • Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut

Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (upgraded Switch games)

  • Civilization 7
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Gamecube games (via Nintendo Switch Online)

Keep in mind that Nintendo Switch games are also playable on the Nintendo Switch 2. 

Interestingly, there are several third-party titles available at launch, which is not common for Nintendo consoles. For example, the original Switch had only seven third-party titles at launch.
