HP launches 18-inch laptop globally with 165 Hz display, up to 192 GB RAM and new Intel Arrow Lake HX Plus processors
Earlier this week, we reported that HP had updated the ZBook Fury G1i 16 with Intel Arrow Lake HX 'Plus' processors. Launched globally, the updated 16-inch workstation features Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus and Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors. The refreshed ZBook Fury G1i 16 is already available to purchase in the US too.
The same is true for the larger ZBook Fury G1i 18, having originally arrived in March 2025 alongside its 16-inch sibling. Previously, the 18-inch mobile workstation was sold with up to the Core Ultra 9 285HX, which we reviewed alongside the Nvidia RTX Pro 5000 Blackwell Generation in November 2025 (curr. $8,951 on Amazon).
Currently, HP is only selling the updated ZBook Fury G1i 18 with the Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus. Pricing starts at $7,033 with 32 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and an RTX Pro 1000 Blackwell Generation laptop GPU (8 GB VRAM). Alternatively, the Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus can be purchased with the RTX Pro 2000 Blackwell Generation (8 GB VRAM) and 1 TB of storage for $8,045.
However, the 18-inch laptop will be available with the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus too, which should provide a 10% CPU performance improvement over the Core Ultra 9 285HX. Moreover, HP has confirmed that these processors can be paired with up to 128 GB EEC or 192 GB non-EEC RAM and 10 TB of storage across four SSDs.
On top of that, the Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus and Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus can be complemented by up to the RTX Pro 5000 Blackwell Generation and its 24 GB of VRAM.
