70% HP OmniBook 3 Review: A Smart Pick for Everyday Use
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
To conclude, the HP OmniBook 3 brings a good balance of minimal style and decent performance. The laptop is not intended to impress power users, but rather students or those switching from an old laptop without spending too much. The laptop is here to deliver reliable performance and a well-balanced user experience. The AMD chipset is meant to smoothly deliver day-to-day tasks, though it is not the best laptop for creators or gamers. Moreover, the laptop will also face stiff competition from devices like the Asus Vivobook S14 (Review) and Moto Book 60 (Review), among others.

HP Omnibook 3 Review: A Reliable Everyday AI Laptop with Thoughtful Touches
Source: Think Digit English
The HP Omnibook 3 isn’t here to dazzle you with marketing buzzwords or flashy RGB. Instead, it quietly focuses on what truly matters: reliable performance, solid build, and a well-balanced user experience. With AMD’s Ryzen AI 5 340 under the hood, it delivers impressive performance for everyday productivity, outclassing many 13th Gen Intel machines and even edging out pricier rivals in benchmarks like PCMark10 and SSD speeds. It’s not the best laptop for creators or gamers, but for students, professionals, and anyone seeking a dependable workhorse that runs cool, quiet, and efficiently, the Omnibook 3 is a smart pick. It nails the essentials and does so with quiet confidence.

77% HP OmniBook 3 2026 review: a workhorse that delivers without having to spend the big bucks
Source: 91mobiles English
The HP OmniBook 13 delivers a fair bit for its asking price. It’s not meant for gamers or tasks which involve graphics or colour grading etc, but it shines as a workhorse that can be ridden hard without any slowdowns. The Apple MacBook Neo emerges as a strong rival in this price range, though its recent price hike doesn’t help its cause. Still, it makes for a worthy purchase if you’re in the Apple ecosystem.

60% HP OmniBook 3 review: Battery life is the main attraction
Source: PC World English
The HP OmniBook 3 16-inch has two main perks: multi-core CPU performance and battery life. While you can find a similarly priced laptop with better CPU performance if you opt for a thicker, heavier machine, the OmniBook 3 performs well for its category. These perks are diminished by the OmniBook 3 16-inch’s integrated GPU performance, which isn’t great for the price, and several other disappointments that are individually minor but add up. These include the lack of Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C 4, the lack of Wi-Fi 7, a dim OLED display, and weak speakers. Pricing isn’t in HP’s favor, either. While I didn’t get to test it, I suspect the entry-level configuration would have scored better, as disappointments like a lack of high-speed wired connectivity and weak speakers are easier to overlook at $520 than at $1,140.

80% HP OmniBook 3 16 Review: Big-Screen Budget Laptop With Unbeatable Battery Life
Source: CNet English
I recommend the Omnibook 3 16 for anyone wanting a big-screen productivity laptop who'd like the luxury of not needing to charge it for days at a time. I'd wait for HP's rotating discounts before buying because oftentimes HP's sales pricing can save you hundreds. Because if it's only $50 less than the OmniBook 5 16, then it makes sense to spend the extra for the OLED and added storage. And if you can't find a good deal on an OmniBook and are determined to spend less than $1,000 on a basic, 16-inch laptop, then the Acer Aspire 16 AI is a great alternative at $700.

HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.

In 2023, HP had an approximate market share of 22% of global PC sales, making it number 2 after Lenovo.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

AMD Radeon 840M: A fairly powerful RDNA 3.5 architecture iGPU that debuted in early 2025 and a direct successor to the Radeon 760M. Its 8 CUs/WGPs (512 unified shaders) run at up to 3 GHz. DX12 Ultimate, ray tracing, AI image generation and other modern features are all supported here, as are many popular video codecs including first and foremost AVC, HEVC, VP9 and AV1. Its gaming performance is good enough for playing 2024 games in low graphics settings.

AMD Radeon 610M: A pretty basic integrated graphics adapter sporting 2 RDNA 2 CUs (128 unified shaders) running at a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz. Its performance is close to what the Vega 6 and the 32 EU Iris Xe deliver.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-45 1.7 TFLOPS: An integrated graphics adapter that the Snapdragon X Plus 8-core X1P-42-100 SoC features. Compared to the faster 3.8 TFLOPS and 4.6 TFLOPS X1-85 iGPUs, this one does not just run at lower clock speeds but also has fewer unified shaders at its disposal, with 768 being the most likely number. The underlying architecture is reportedly not much different from what was used in the Adreno 730. As for its gaming performance, it's only just sufficient for pre-2020 games at resolutions such as HD 720p on low graphics settings.

AMD Strix / Gorgon Point:

Ryzen AI 5 340: A relatively powerful Krackan Point family processor that was introduced in early 2025. The APU integrates 6 CPU cores (three Zen 5 cores with up to 4.8 GHz and three Zen 5c cores with up to 3.4 GHz). The integrated Ryzen AI delivers up to 50 INT8 TOPS for accelerating various AI workloads.

AMD Mendocino (Zen 2, Ryzen 7020):

R3 30: Mobile Quad-Core APU using four Zen 2 cores clocked at 2.4 to 4.1 GHz and SMT (8 threads). Rebadged chip of the older Ryzen 3 7320U.

Qualcomm Snapdragon X:

SD X1-26-100: An affordable ARM architecture processor (SoC) for use in Windows laptops. The 8-core Snapdragon X chip features 8 Oryon CPU cores running at up to 2.98 GHz, along with the 1.7 TFLOPS X1-45 Adreno iGPU and the 45 TOPS Hexagon NPU. The super-fast LPDDR5x-8448 memory controller known to us from other Snapdragon X chips, USB 4.0 support, TB 4 support and PCIe 4 support are all onboard as well.

14.00:

14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.

The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.

In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.

16.00:

This range for display formats was and is a rarity. It is larger than the general standard of 15 inches, but not yet in the range of large workstations. One usually has higher screen resolutions available, but portability suffers from that.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.

66.71%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
