HP's mid-range Envy 15 convertible is on sale at the moment for a very respectable price considering the hardware you're getting. The Envy series is home to the manufacturer's mid-range consumer laptops to contrast the budget Pavilion series and higher-end Spectre series.
The deal is notable for its metal chassis and high specifications relative to what you'll be paying as most other laptops in this same $500 to $600 USD range typically come with less RAM or thicker and more unsightly plastic designs. The Ryzen 5 4500U CPU in particular is a highlight of the configuration because it is AMD's latest generation processor with performance levels rivaling the pricier Intel Core i7-1065G7 or Core i7-1165G7. Users looking to maximize performance-per-value out of their next Ultrabooks will find a lot to like about this sale.
A notable drawback to the laptop is its somewhat dim 250-nit display. Though it's fine when indoors, outdoor natural lighting will easily overwhelm and wash out the screen. The system also lacks Thunderbolt support.
Users must customize the laptop with 16 GB of RAM and the Intel AX200 WLAN and then input the coupon code 'WINTRSAV5' at checkout to see the final price of $569 USD. Check out our full review on the laptop here to learn more about its features.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
