Deal | MacBook Pro-like HP Envy 17 with 11th gen Core i7 CPU, 1080p touchscreen, and Wi-Fi 6 is down to only $670 USD
The latest Envy 17 mimics a lot of design features of the Apple MacBook without costing nearly as much. Upgrading from 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM costs just $40 USD more.
Most laptop deals generally fall in the 13-inch or 15-inch categories since those screen sizes are the most popular with consumers. Users looking for something a bit larger, however, may find this next deal more appealing.
The 2020 17.3-inch HP Envy 17 is now on sale at HP.com for a price of $670 USD down from its initial launch price of nearly $1000. Users must configure with the Core i7-1165G7 CPU in order to see the low price. The specifications list is no slouch even at the base level with its 1080p IPS touchscreen, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and dual 128 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD storage. RAM is on the low side at just 8 GB, but an upgrade to 12 GB costs just $40 extra.
The Envy series is home to HP's upper mid-range laptops meaning the Envy 17 carries a thinner and stronger chassis design than the cheaper Pavilion series. Read up on our review of the Envy 17 here to learn more about the chassis and its features. Note that the configuration on sale uses a faster processor than the unit we reviewed, but the chassis is otherwise the same.

There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
