Govee releases new Outdoor Decoration Projector Light with Matter

Govee has released the Outdoor Decoration Projector Light in North America and Europe. It was teased on the brand’s Coming Soon page a couple of weeks ago, and arrives alongside the flagship Galaxy Light Projector 2 Pro.

The Outdoor Decoration Projector Light is designed to cast patterned lighting effects on the outer walls of your home, illuminating an area of up to 1,679 ft² (~156 m²). The smart light comes with 20 projection discs with themes like Christmas, Halloween and parties. These are combined with a second light source, which delivers abstract colored lighting effects to sit in the background. You can customize the lighting through the Govee Home app, where you can also find preset scenes, some of which sync to music.

As with many of the latest Govee products, the Outdoor Decoration Projector Light is a Matter compatible device, meaning it will integrate with many smart home ecosystems and can be controlled with voice commands. The aluminum body of this outdoor projector light is rated as IP67 dust and waterproof, and can operate in temperatures from -4 to 104°F (~-20 to 40°C). You can adjust the projection angle up to 180°, and the projector is held in the ground with an accompanying stake accessory.

The Govee Outdoor Decoration Projector Light retails for $119.99 in the US, but it is available with a 25% discount at Amazon, reducing the price to $89.99. In Europe, it is selling at the brand’s online store for £119.99/€119.99. Again, there are vouchers available at Amazon, lowering the price to £89.99/€89.99.
